Shelly Phillinganes

Hello, my name is Shelly Phillinganes! I am a Designer and illustrator who graduated from California State University Fullerton. Before graduating from CSUF I got my Associate of Arts degree from Fullerton College. I have loved telling stories and illustrating ever since I was a child and honed my skills while I attended school and continue to do so now.

Currently, I am working as an Elementary School Art Teacher. I manage and create art lessons and projects for roughly 650 students across 6 grades(k-5). I am eagerly looking to start a career in the Design & Illustration industry! Check out my portfolio to view my most recent design and illustration work.

During this past two years I fulfilled a dream of mine of writing and illustrating my own children’s books. I plan to continue that joy and release more books very soon.
